Simple to refill, the G2 pods each feature a top filling design, and all you need to do to refill is remove the mouthpiece. These pods also feature an adjustable airflow wheel that makes it easy for you to swap between a tight or loose inhale. When choosing an e-liquid, you can use 50/50 and high PG e-liquids. Nic salts are popular as they also create a smooth throat hit.

CALIBURN G2 PODS Does it leak?

After weeks of testing to write this Caliburn G2 review, we found it is well sealed, and it is rare that the device will have any leaks. The only leaking we experienced was a very small amount of e-liquid around the base of the pod cartridge after several hours of use (possibly from the airflow hole), but nothing out of the ordinary.

Material & Build Quality

The Caliburn G2 is made from an aluminium alloy, making it lightweight yet strong and durable. The pods are made from lightweight plastic and are easy to transport. It’s comfortable to hold and is strong enough to be dropped without breaking.

There is no display screen, which helps the device remain lightweight. Instead, relying on LED lights and a unique vibration feature to alert the user about low battery, short circuits, no power and other features.

The Caliburn G2 is slim, lightweight and slips easily into your pocket. It’s similarly sized to most other vape pods on the market. The Caliburn comes in a range of stylish, modern colours, including Pyrrole Scarlet, Gradient, Shading Gray, and Carbon Black.

It also features a transparent window to see how much e-liquid is left in the cartridge, meaning you don’t need to remove the pod to see how much liquid is in the cartridge.

Let’s Talk About the Caliburn G2 Pods & Coils

The 0.8 Oh mesh coils are the same as the original, which is great if you have some spares lying around or like to switch between the devices. What’s different is the new 1.2 Ohm coil (9-13W) that comes with the kit and the replacement pod, which, as we stated earlier, has a slightly different curve appeal at the top. If you like MTL vaping, this is the better draw and throat hit compared to the Caliburn G. The G2 pods will last you a couple of weeks, depending on the type of e-liquid used and the frequency that you vape during the day.

Because you can swap the coils out for new ones, the G2 pods last significantly longer than those of the A2 and Caliburn original, which require replacement pods as soon as the pre-installed coil is spent. Because of the long life and fantastic consistent flavour you get from the 1.2 Ohm coil, you won’t feel much of a difference when you swap for a new one after a couple of weeks of mouth-to-lung vaping.
