VooPoo Drag Nano 2 Pod System Device

Voopoo fans, attention here and now! Voopoo adds another new open pod system to its Drag series collection, the 20W Drag Nano 2. It’s an exquisite device constructed of neat lines. Actually, if we’re only going to introduce one thing about this pod, it should be its impressively tiny size. Drag Nano 2 might be only half as big as our palms.

VooPoo Drag Nano 2 Pod System Review

The standard version of Voopoo Drag Nano 2 holds up to 5.5ml vape juice, and runs on a rechargeable 800mAh battery. Voopoo also releases a TPD version for this latest kit, which limits the reservoir capacity to only 2ml.

After days of testing on the Voopoo Drag Nano 2, we’ve sorted through all the device’s pros and cons in the paragraphs below. By the way, we highlight aspects we like in green, and those we don’t in red, to make your reading easier. Let’s kick it off!

We used the 1.2Ω coil during test. You can find from the table above that at the White-High power mode, the wattage is 11W – 11.5W (there might be 0.5 wattage fluatuation when testing). Green – Mid mode is around 10.7W, and Blue – Low mode is 9.7W. There aren’t too much difference, and we can’t detect obvious difference while vaping, too. In general, for the 1.2Ω coil, it’s safe to say that VOOPOO Drag Nano 2 works between 9-12W.

Voopoo DRAG Nano 2 Pods

The body of the pods is pretty standard. The part of the pod that goes into the port is black and thinner than the rest of the pod. Above that part is transparent, and with the vast majority of the e-liquid above the port, you can easily see how much liquid is in the pod.

I haven’t mentioned the fill port yet because it’s underneath the mouth piece. You remove the black mouth piece by pulling or tipping it off. By doing so you expose the silicone bung which goes all the way across the top of the pod. Lifting it at one side exposes the filling hole

There are a few issues here…

First of all, I’m not very keen on the filling port being under the mouth piece because it can’t be good for long term, however because they’re replaceable pods I’m not that fussed.

Secondly, usually with this design there is rubber inside the mouth piece that presses onto the silicone bung to ensure is doesn’t leak, however with the VooPoo Drag nano 2 pods, the mouth piece is hollow. This means if the bung isn’t perfect there will be leakage.

Finally, there is no divide or real gap between the fill hole or chimney.
