How did vaping help me to quit smoking?

The discovery of vaping & The Story of Quitting Smoking:

When i was trying to quit smoking I faced my life full of challenges. The world is a curious place to be and us, humans, tend to discover things from the early stages of life. Trying different stuff and copying the habits of others , all this contributes in forming ours. Not always our habits are healthy .We are getting addicted to something without even noticing it since the beginning. Addictions can cause changes in our lives. For some reasons we can be criticised or unaccepted by our beloved ones. Once you do the things that are considered unhealthy you are in the wrong lifestyle direction. And you need to be strong enough in order to change this.

 My case is quite common. I am an ex-smoker. My relationship with cigarettes was strong, stable and durable . And one day the end has come.The discovery of vaping helped me to update my life and bring back my desire to enjoy this life the most. 

The first try:

Cigarette addiction is a real thing and needs to be treated accordingly. I smoked for 15 years and tried quitting several times with no  success. Trying patches, gums , hypnotherapy gave me zero results. The truth is, I enjoyed smoking.

 It was giving me peace of mind and comfort when I needed it. That was the reason why I didn’t quit in all those years until 1 day. I saw one of my friends vaping. The smell that was coming out of his vaping device was so pleasant and delicious. After asking a few questions about the device, I headed to the vape shop and got my first one. The replacement of my old friend, a cigarette. The first few days were normal without any cigarette cravings. Probably because I bought the liquid with the right strength of nicotine. The positive effects were also there. I’ve started to feel better, lighter after a week.

So what is the vape device , vape pens and electronic cigarettes?

The first e-cigarette was invented in 2003 by a Chinese pharmacist Hon Lik . After losing his father to lung cancer , he created an electronic cigarette device that had nicotine but without the hundreds of harmful chemicals found in tobacco smoke.

“I believe that if I could use vapour to simulate cigarette smoke this could help me”, Lik said.

The device heats the liquid nicotine ,  flavouring  and turns it into vapour, then into aerosol. The mixture  is typically propylene glycol and glycerol (vegetable glycerin).

Nowadays there are many varieties of electronic cigarettes, vapes , pens or sticks, e-hookahs. They can also be called electronic nicotine delivery systems(ENDS).

Most of the electronic cigarettes have: a cartridge, a heating element, a battery , a power control and a mouthpiece to breathe in aerosol.

Does it really help to quit smoking ?

Definitely, yes! You are one decision away from making a great change. The difference between smoking and vaping is huge. Normal cigarettes offer smoking while vape or electronic cigarettes offer vaping enjoyment.Vaping is better and safer. When you start burning a normal cigarette it produces more than 4000 harmful chemicals. It could be the reason for health problems like heart diseases, lung cancer, breathing problems, etc. It also affects those who surround you. Smoking also produces a bad smell and leaves stains on clothes and teeth. 

Vape devices stimulate tobacco smoking. Instead of smoke, we inhale the vapour. It is less harmful due to fewer toxins than cigarette smoke, at lower concentrations.

The benefits of vaping are obvious.

• It is cheaper than smoking. 

• Less harmful to you and to those around you. 

• No headaches , no confused state of mind. 

•Vaping gives you a renewed sense of energy, better mood, better sleep. 

•You can vape indoors when you do have nicotine cravings. 

Changes after vaping.

Vaping has changed my life and I am happy about making my decision to quit smoking and start vaping. After 2 years of my vaping experience I am glad to share that I am finally able to taste the food. Food tastes delicious. All my senses are as good as they used to be before being a smoker. I no longer have  a problem with the unpleasant tobacco smell . Stopped using chewing gums and the desire to wash my hands and teeth after each smoke. I stopped hiding and can vape freely.

It doesn’t disturb and affect those who are around me. I can change the flavor and the strength of the juice according to my mood. And lastly I reduced coffee consumption. Before I couldn’t imagine my morning without a perfect combo: coffee + cigarette. So my blood pressure and heart are under control. It is never too late to quit smoking and start vaping & I started with Elf bar 10000 Puffs.

Try once and you will see the changes that you will have after just a few months.
